The New Facility At Split, On The Eastern Shores Of The Adriatic Sea, Is The First VIKING-Owned Station In Croatia.
Marine and fire safety equipment manufacturer VIKING Life-Saving Equipment has declared it is opening 4 servicing stations at Brest, Split, Kaohsiung and Port Klang. The new ports further expand the corporation's already dense network of stations in Europe and Pacific Rim.
The new facility at Split, on the eastern shores of the Adriatic Sea, is the first VIKING-owned station in Croatia. Split is a beautiful sea town and when you come in this town you can stay in Split hotel. One of the sunniest ports in Europe, the Port of Split is also one of Croatia's most important centers for both local and global ocean-going trade. The station, which is located in grounds which have been completely refurbished for servicing purposes, will supply authorized servicing for liferafts, marine evacuation systems (MES), lifeboats, davits and release hooks (LBS), and immersion suits.
VIKING's new Brest, France, servicing station, lying at the crossroads of many north-south and east-west sea routes and serving one of Europe's foremost food industry areas, will be offering the same capacities as its Croatian counterpart, in a similar fashion operating in custom-built grounds. Kaohsiung, Taiwan, was in 2009 rated as the planet's 12th most important container port by the North American Organisation of Port Authorities. It is the largest port in Taiwan and a vital global center in the entire Far East Pacific region. It's been an established concern to open the new VIKING facilities in Kaohsiung and it'll also offer the full range of licensed servicing capabilities.
The latest addition to the company's Malaysian presence was actually established on the supposition of direct consumer feedback. Found at Port Klang, the 4th facility introduced in the most recent wave of enlargement is the results of VIKING's strategic stress to keep in close touch with its patrons. The Port Klang and Kaohsiung facilities are also a part of the worldwide VIKING Exchange network and will supply liferaft servicing where the stress is on convenience and quick turn-around.
"Listening and responding to customers is fundamental to the ongoing success and growth of any business," announces Henrik Uhd Christensen, VIKING's MANAGER. "At the same time, Port Klang is Malaysia's largest and most active port and a natural choice for a centered service offering that answers the needs of lots of our customers operating in the area".
The new servicing stations in Split, Brest, Kaohsiung and Port Klang stations all form part of VIKING's strategic push to grow its worldwide network, now numbering over sixty branch offices and 270 licensed servicing points, and the number will continue to grow at an incessant rate as reported tagza.com.

Sex, Love and Feminism in the Asia Pacific $150 'Sex, love and feminism' are three aspects of the rapidly changing gender relations that shape young people's lives in the Asia Pacific region. Much has been written about rapidly changing countries in Asia, most recently China and India. With the global spread of capitalist production and neo-liberal ideologies, the claim that the rest of the world's women are treading the path to enlightenment and development forged by women in the West has been revived. This book explores that contention through a comparative analysis of the attitudes of young middle class urbanites in ten countries: the USA, Australia, Canada, Japan, Thailand, South Korea, India, Indonesia, China and Vietnam. Drawing on detailed empirical research, the study describes and compares attitudes towards the women's movement, sexual relations and family arrangements in the countries considered. It explores young peoples' image of feminists and what they feel the women's movement has achieved for women and men in their country. The book discusses young people's attitudes to controversial gender issues such as role reversal, sharing housework, abortion rights, same sex sexual relations, nudity and pornography. Through a comparative analysis of the gender vocabularies by which young people understand gender issues, the book highlights the role of differences in history, culture, economics and political leadership. These influence attitudes to gender relations, the status of women and the political programs of the women's movement in different countries. Whilst there are striking parallels between countries and even across the whole sample, those similarities do not fall neatly into a simple dichotomy of the 'westversus the rest'. |
